We are happy to announce that on 24 January 2023, the Holomedicine® Association and the Society for Simulation in Healthcare™ (SSH) signed an affiliation agreement at the International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare in Orlando, Florida.

Society for Simulation in Healthcare

The Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) is the largest healthcare simulation organization in the world with nearly 5,000 members from more than 60 countries. SSH is a 501(c)3 organization and was established in 2004. The Society’s purpose is to serve a global community of practice enhancing the quality of healthcare.

The mission of SSH is to serve its members by fostering education, professional development, and the advancement of research and innovation; promote the profession of healthcare simulation through standards and ethics; and champion healthcare simulation through advocating sharing, facilitating, and collaborating.

On Tuesday, 24 January 2023, our Director for Policy Dr. Marc-Angelo Bisotti, joined the International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare in Orlando and joined Dr. Yashuharu Okuda, board member of SSH, to an in-person signing ceremony to mark the launch of our affiliation.

The IMSH is a scientific conference that explores the latest innovations and best practices in healthcare simulation gathering leaders across healthcare, industry and education. The conference provides the tools and resources for healthcare professionals to advance their skills and ultimately improve patient safety across the globe.

Through this affiliation, HMA and SSH will be able to work on our common goals and objectives in the field of education, research and innovation. We are to start 2023 on such a high!
