The Holomedicine® Association signs Letter of Intent with European Space Agency

We are happy to announce that last week we signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with the European Space Agency (ESA).

Given the shared interest in using mixed reality in healthcare, ESA and HMA have agreed to further investigate the potential of holographic technology in the context of medical care in space.

The European Space Agency is an intergovernmental organisation dedicated to the peaceful exploration and use of space for the benefit of humankind. Established in 1975, they work together with 22 Member States to push the frontiers of science and technology, and promote economic growth in Europe. Its dedicated Space medicine Team supports ESA astronauts during current missions to the ISS and to prepare for human missions beyond Low-Earth orbit.

Our collaboration will intend to identify and exchange information on common areas of interest, including screening and assessment of new advancements in the field of holographic technology and their potential to be applied in space.

We are proud that we can provide our expert opinion and contribute to the effort of excelling healthcare.
